FROM QUITO TO LAGO AGRIO
Lago Agrio is the common starting point for all our tours, is the nearest city to Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve.
You have different ways to get to Lago Agrio by road with a typical journey of about 8 hours from Quito by: Public bus, Tourist shuttle, or a wonderful private car Day Tour Best Option.

BY PUBLIC BUS​
You could depart from the South Terminal - Quitumbe or from the North Terminal - Carcelen.
If you wish you can travel during the day or during the night.

Traveling during the day: Take a bus from Quito’s South Terminal (Quitumbe) for the most options. It is essential to travel the day before your tour, staying overnight in Lago Agrio to be ready for morning pick-up to start your tour.
Recommended bus company: Transportes Baños​

Traveling during the night: Take an 11 PM bus (the night before) from either the North (Terminal Carcelén) or South (Terminal Quitumbe) bus terminals to arrive around 7 AM. We will pick you up in the morning and start your tour.

Meeting point in Lago Agrio: Your bus will drop you off at Hostel Planeta Azul. Breakfast is included at the Hostel.

FROM QUITO TO
COCA AIRPORT
Flying from Quito to Coca (Francisco de Orellana Airport) is the fastest way to reach the Northern Ecuadorian Amazon, with flights taking only 30–45 minutes. This short flight allows travelers to start their jungle tours on the same day of arrival.
We will pick you up from the airport and from here on, all transport will be arrange by us.

DAY TOUR QUITO TO LAGO AGRIO
​A scenic car journey from Quito to Lago Agrio starts by heading east, climbing through Andean moors (via Pifo-Papallacta road) with spectacular views of the Antisana volcano to reach the hot springs of Papallacta (3,300m) for a relaxing break, before descending into the Amazon basin through Baeza, enjoying dramatic landscape that includes the Magic Waterfall and the active Reventador volcano, and, for the final stretch, lush tropical scenery.
